Bir \u00e7arpma an\u0131nda ara\u00e7 saniyenin ilk on salisesinde durmaktaysa ve  emniyet kemeri tak\u0131l\u0131 de\u011filse direksiyon, kontrol paneli ya da \u00f6n cam taraf\u0131ndan durdurulana kadar ara\u00e7 i\u00e7indeki e\u015fyalar ve ara\u00e7ta bulunan ki\u015filerin bedenleri ayn\u0131 h\u0131zdaki hareketlerine devam edeceklerdir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oysa do\u011fru tak\u0131lm\u0131\u015f bir emniyet kemeri insan bedenini:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c7arpma etkisiyle v\u00fccutta meydana gelen sars\u0131nt\u0131n\u0131n kademe kademe azalmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayarak,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c7arp\u0131\u015fma  an\u0131nda meydana gelen \u00e7arpma etkisini v\u00fccut yap\u0131s\u0131ndaki en g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc noktalara y\u00f6nelterek,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c7arpma etkisinin v\u00fccutta tek noktada toplanmay\u0131p da\u011f\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayarak,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c7arpma\/\u00e7arp\u0131\u015fma an\u0131nda koltuktan f\u0131rlamay\u0131 engelleyerek,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hassas ve en \u00f6nemli organlar\u0131n yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 kafa ve omurili\u011fin herhangi bir yere \u00e7arpmas\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nleyerek korumaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Biliyor musunuz?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00dc\u00e7 noktal\u0131 emniyet kemerleri, otomobilde seyahat edenlerin a\u011f\u0131r yaralanma risklerini % 45 kamyonetlerde de % 60 oran\u0131nda azalmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d6l\u00fcml\u00fc kazalarda emniyet kemeri kullananlar\u0131n % 24.8\u2019i hi\u00e7 zarar g\u00f6rmeden kazay\u0131 atlat\u0131rken, emniyet kemeri kullanmayanlarda bu oran % 6.3\u2019t\u00fcr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130leri d\u00fczey ara\u015ft\u0131rmalarda arka koltukta emniyet kemeri kullan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n, arka koltukta meydana gelen \u00f6l\u00fcm ve yaralanmalar\u0131n 2\/3\u2019n\u00fcn ve \u00f6n koltukta \u00f6l\u00fcmlerin ise % 6\u2019s\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nledi\u011fi saptanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. B\u00fct\u00fcn a\u011f\u0131r yaralanmalarda ise, arka koltuk emniyet kemerleri yaralanman\u0131n \u015fiddetini % 50 oran\u0131nda azaltmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TRL (\u0130ngiltere Ula\u015f\u0131m Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Laboratuar\u0131) analizleri, \u00f6n koltuk yolcular\u0131n\u0131n tamam\u0131na yak\u0131n\u0131n\u0131n emniyet kemeri takmas\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k, daha d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck oranda emniyet kemeri kullanan arka koltuk yolcular\u0131n\u0131n yaralanma riskinin 2 kat, f\u0131rlat\u0131lma riskinin ise 7 kat daha fazla oldu\u011fu ortaya koymu\u015ftur. Emniyet kemeri takmam\u0131\u015f arka koltuk yolcular\u0131 en \u00e7ok kafa, y\u00fcz ve boyun zedelenmelerine maruz kalmaktad\u0131r. Arka koltuk yolcular\u0131n\u0131n en b\u00fcy\u00fck yaralanma nedeni f\u0131rlat\u0131lmad\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Genel bir ifade ile belirtecek olursak emniyet kemeri kullan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n zorunlu oldu\u011fu \u00fclkelerdeki \u00f6l\u00fcm ve yaralanma oranlar\u0131, kullan\u0131m\u0131n zorunlu olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00fclkelere g\u00f6re % 40 daha azd\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avustralya\u2019n\u0131n bir eyaleti olan Viktorya\u2019da emniyet kemeri kullan\u0131m\u0131 1970 y\u0131l\u0131nda zorunlu hale getirilmi\u015ftir. Bundan 4 y\u0131l sonra 1974 istatistiklerinde \u00f6l\u00fcmlerde % 37\u2019lik azalma, yaralanmalarda % 41\u2019lik azalma ve omurilik zedelenmelerinde ise % 27\u2019lik azalma meydana gelmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1995\u2019te Amerika\u2019da ise emniyet kemerleri 9.797, hava yast\u0131klar\u0131 475, \u00e7ocuk koruma sistemleri ise 279 ki\u015finin hayat\u0131n\u0131 kurtarm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Kanada\u2019da, 1989\u2019dan bu yana emniyet kemerleri 2.400 ki\u015finin hayat\u0131n\u0131, 55.000 ki\u015finin yaralanmas\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nlemi\u015f, sosyal ve sa\u011fl\u0131k maliyetlerinde 3 milyon dolar tasarruf sa\u011flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
